Central is just north and east of Baton Rouge, close to our O'Neal Lane shop, which makes it one of the easiest places for us to schedule. Many Central homes sit on larger, tree-lined lots, so mildew on siding and black streaks on roofs are common.

Between the Comite and the Amite
Central sits between two rivers: the Comite on the west and the Amite on the east, meeting at the south end of the city. Both flooded in 2016, and the mayor said 25,000 residents were affected. Since becoming a city in 2005, Central has kept growing, to nearly 30,000 people in 2020.
Homes off Hooper, Sullivan, Lovett and Denham roads see the same green buildup on north walls and driveways. We soft wash siding and roofs and pressure wash the concrete.
